Sticks and Stones

"Sticks and Stones" is the prologue to the overall renovation of the Neue Nationalgallerie which will be carried out by the David Chipperfield Architects at the beginning of 2015. The architects have transformed the large open space of the upper glass hall of the Mies van der Rohe building into a portico of of 144 standing tree trunks. Alexander Schwarz, co-author of "Sticks and Stones" and partner and design director of the Berlin office will give us an insight into the exhibition and a forecast for its next three year renovation. We will continue to enjoy „The View“ of the superb location on which the Museum of Modern Art will be built.
