Common Ground

Theatre critics have announced that the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin which is under the direction of Shermin Langhoff and Jens Hillje has been named the theatre of the year. We are looking forward to the joint visit to the performance of "Common Ground". Yael Ronen researched his actors and produced biographies for them. Many of them were children in the 90s during the war in Yugoslavia - they were children of both perpetrators and victims. Subsequently, she decided to go to Yugoslavia with them to see various war scenes - the "common ground". Their performance was completely improvised. It never pointed the finger or remained conventional and it is performed without fear of great emotion, pain or laughter.
