Studio visit Monica Bonvicini

Studio visit with Monica Bonvicini at UferHallen in Wedding. Until April 30, the Neue Nationalgalerie is showing a comprehensive solo exhibition of the artist's influential work. Titled "I do You," the show features site-specific installation and sculptural works from Bonvicini's oeuvre. The artworks often employ language and text, humor and irony, at times boldly explicit, pushing and subverting institutional boundaries and questioning the role of the viewer. Her work can be found in numerous private as well as public collections, such as MOMA in N.Y., Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Zurich, and Museo d'Arte Contemporanea Castello di Rivoli, Turin. We look forward to a personal conversation to gain a deeper insight into her working methods.
