The 8 Ways

It is the merit of curators Thomas Eller, Andreas Schmid and co-curator Guo Xiaoyan who after several months travelling and researching Beijing studios discovered a wide variety of young and aspiring of Chinese artists. The title of the exhibition "The 8 ways" alludes to infinite number of ways of understanding: It is ambiguous and is also the popular number 8 as the Chinese lucky number.
